Now, after more than three years and having conducted thousands of online therapy sessions, I have become a believer in working online for various reasons. Online Therapy does work and can be as effective as face-to-face therapy. But, of course, there are exceptions.

Research consistently shows that online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person therapy. Over the past few years, I have conducted thousands of online therapy sessions and have become a believer in working online for various reasons. But, of course, there are exceptions.
Online therapy can save you money and time because you don’t have to factor in the duration and cost of travelling to and from therapy sessions. I also have fewer overhead costs (office rent, commute, etc.), making online therapy more affordable for you.
Online therapy can make therapy more accessible and convenient for you, especially if your job involves irregular hours or a lot of travelling, if you don't have childcare, have restricted mobility or live in remote areas.
Fitting therapy around work and family responsibilities can be a real challenge. Online therapy can allow you to have therapy on a schedule that fits your life.
Having therapy online can be more private than traditional in-person sessions. There is no chance of bumping into someone you know on the premises where therapy takes place.
Talking about sex isn't easy for many. It's sensitive and personal. Having therapy in the comfort of your own space can make you feel safe, less anxious, more relaxed and in control of the process.
While online therapy can be as effective as in-person therapy, it has limitations. It may not be suitable for some people (for example, people with serious mental illnesses, those in acute crisis or feeling suicidal, or people in domestically violent relationships).
In your initial consultation or during your first session, we can discuss whether online therapy is a suitable option for you. We also check technology and agree on what to do in the event of a technical problem. Online sessions are conducted via Zoom, FaceTime, Skype, telephone, or other secure methods.
You must ensure you can be online at the appointed time, in a quiet space where you are not interrupted or overheard. If you need to reschedule or cancel (and have a full refund) for any reason, give me 24 hours notice.

Via email (Taba@cantab.net), phone (01223 653962 or 07515342585) or during your initial FREE consultation, we agree on a convenient date and time for your first therapy session. This appointment is then provisionally booked for you.
I then send you an Appointment Email containing instructions on confirming your booking (therapy agreement and payment).
Once I receive your completed and signed therapy agreement and payment, the slot will be secured for you. I send you an email confirming your appointment and joining instructions.
